History
Marvel was founded in Chicago, IL, following WWII as a steel manufacturer of retail items, including Bread Boxes and Storage Bins for Montgomery Wards, Sears Roebuck, and many other national catalogers and retailers. Over six decades of metal manufacturing expertise means we have the skills, equipment, and experience to produce the components you need accurately and efficiently. In 2021, Marvel was purchased by Accurate Metal Fabricating, a leader in contract manufacturing. We are now a part of a larger organization which includes Accurate Perforating, the leader in perforated metal materials.
Chicago serves as a prime manufacturing location (both then and now) with unmatched access to logistical services, raw materials, energy and most importantly, skilled labor. Through the decades we have grown to service worldwide customers in:
